Description
A QUILT WITH A MODERN TAKE ON THE CLASSIC DESIGN
‘Argyle Window’ is a contemporary interpretation of the classic argyle design. The modern quilt pattern uses foundation paper piecing with an optional QAYG + FPP method for a new way to quilt quickly.
The design features clean lines and crisp points, while the pattern includes two sizes and two layout options for unlimited ways to make a quilt that fits your style.
The pattern instructions assume basic familiarity with FPP, but visit the Paper Moonlight blog for tips and tricks to get started.

OPTIONAL QAYG + FPP
The QAYG FPP method is a great way to piece and quilt in a single step. It combines the accuracy of normal FPP with the efficiency of QAYG. Benefits include:
- Perfectly match points and easily work with tricky shapes and bias edges.
- Reduce the time it takes to complete a project.
- Great for big projects on smaller home machines.
- No need for a printer or special FPP paper
- No tearing paper away.
- Pins normally not needed during piecing.
To do the QAYG + FPP method, you will need batting templates. Make your own with the template stencils, or purchase a pre-made batting square kit. Watch my video about using this technique.
NOTE: This listing is for the downloadable PDF pattern only. If you would like the physical pattern mailed to you, purchase the physical pattern, or purchase the pre-made coordinating batting kit for easy QAYG + FPP.
